A Salty Little Giveaway

I adore Sophie, AKA, BooMama. She's one of those "Friends in my Head".  (Please don't judge the crazy!)

In honor of her first book and our imagined friendship I'm giving away my copy of this sweet, funny  book.

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment below about your favorite family memory.

For a second chance come like my page on Facebook-Lessons From Aisle 12, and if you already do, just share this link on FB, or  you can retweet. (Score-look at all those opportunities you have to win!)

I leave the comments open until Sunday night at 9pm, then notify the winner.

XOXOX,

Like OneGirl said, "oh man." Choosing just one favorite family memory is hard. My favorite would have be family trips to Gatlinburg, TN during the summer. :)

One favorite memory..that's hard. But I guess it would be when my 2 sisters, niece and I went to Wmsburg VA. I sorta got lost even though I was trying to follow the signs exactly. When my niece commented they sure had a bunch of Dunkin Donut shops because we had passed 3 in the last few minutes, I knew I was driving in a circle. We still laugh about that. vircahines@gmail.com

Oh how fun. I really want to read this.
Favorite family memory: the 6 of us went to Colorado (from TX) this March. A perfect vacation, good balance of resting and fun activities!

love your blog, love our Lord! favorite memory is my daddy taking away my fear of bugs by introducing me to a daddy long legs some 50+ years ago. He carefully "shook" on of its legs, introduced it to me and to this day, i may not want a bug in my face, but i am not afraid of them. was telling my dad the other day, that every time someone is scared of a bug, i think of him & thank him again :) my parents both introduced me to Jesus and that has been their best gift to me. They became believers when mom have carrying me and that is how i got my name, Amy = Beloved, Faith= Trust. Every time i write it, i hear my Lord telling me to trust Him :)

I love getting together every Sunday night with my grown children and their children. Even though they are older they still need to connect with their parents and we love to connect with them.

I think my favorite family memory(ies) are of Christmas--couldn't wait until Christmas morning to see what was under the tree--always something special for each of us 3 girls--but it was always fun to see Mom and Dad enjoy the gifts we had bought them with what little money we had. But BEFORE gifts we always read the Christmas story from the Bible, and my sisters and I often acted out the Christmas story of baby Jesus. Then it was off to one of our grandmother's homes where the extended family met for a wonderful Christmas lunch/dinner. . .followed by grandchildren doing something special for the Christmas "program" like reciting a poem, or playing a piano solo, or singing and reciting a favorite scripture relating to Christmas BEFORE we got to the gifts. We kids were often impatient to get to the gifts, but now I see the greater gift was giving FIRST priority to the real meaning of Christmas both in my home and in my grandparents homes!
