Life can be so hard.
I realize that is not a news flash, but it is so true isn't it?
Maybe it's the way social media connects us now, or the age I am, but it seems as if I know so many people struggling.
Whether it's with wayward teens, marriages falling apart or life and death, there just seems to be so much pain.
I had two different sets of friends say goodbye to one of their parents last week.
Two different friends struggling with teenage pregnancy in their families, and all the decisions that have to be made.
Life is Hard.
Now news has come from friends that I went to high school with, that the young mother of 5 has stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her liver.
The meet with the oncologist today to determine their course of treatment and how best they can battle this horrendous disease.
Would you join me in prayer for Julie?
Because, there is no doubt that life is hard, but that God is greater!
One of the most amazing parts about being a Follower of Jesus is that you are united with believers from all over the world through the bonds of Christ.

Oh, Angie. I'm sorry to hear that friend has to struggle with this horrible disease, but you are so right. Our God is greater! I will keep her, and her babies and husband in my prayers. I will pray for healing, and that God can then use that miracle to be a testimony to the doctors and nurses who are treating her.

I was surprised to see this on fb. It is certainly not good news that it has spread to her liver. And to have all those young ones. It makes me wonder, "What if..." I guess I survived without a mother but I don't want my children to have to. I pray that quite often.
God is in control. We don't know His reasons, but I am certainly glad that they have Him to lean on. Whether He performs a miracle, or He takes her home...all is good (albeit hard on this end.)

God does miracles everyday, He can do one for her too.
